Why people join the MyColour team
Our work is hands-on and service driven. One day a team member may be checking a printer installation in Ndabeni, the next they may be talking a customer through ink choice, media settings or a courier collection to Somerset West. We serve design studios, sign shops and offices that depend on steady colour output, so attention to detail matters every day.
We value people who show up on time, keep records clean and treat each job as if the print budget is their own. Cape Town traffic, load-shedding and tight turnaround times are part of the job, so calm thinking counts.
Roles we commonly hire for
We do not list open vacancies here, but we often need people in a few practical areas across the business. These roles may suit candidates with strong people skills, technical interest or warehouse and dispatch experience.
- Sales and client support for colour printers, inks and consumables
- Wide-format setup and print quality assistance
- Service and maintenance support for installed machines
- Dispatch, stock handling and courier coordination
- Consumable planning and reordering support
Some roles need printer knowledge, while others need good admin, warehouse discipline or a helpful phone manner. If you have experience with print rooms, office equipment, media matching or stock control, mention it clearly.
What helps your CV stand out
Tell us what you have done, where you have worked and what you can do on your own. Include your suburb or town, your contact number, and whether you can travel between our Cape Town base and nearby areas like Montague Gardens, Woodstock, Claremont, Bellville or Somerset West.
- Previous print, office equipment or dispatch experience
- Any technical fault-finding or installation work
- Customer service or trade counter experience
- Ability to manage stock, paperwork and handovers
- Valid licence if the role may involve collections or deliveries
Keep the CV clear and current. If you have worked with colour printers, wide-format machines, inks or media, say so. Even small details can help us match your experience to the right opening.
How to apply through our contact form
Send your CV through our contact form with the subject line Careers. If you are interested in a specific type of work, say so in the message body and include a short note on why the role suits you.
We read applications carefully and keep them on file for future openings. If we need more detail, we may ask for a second CV, references or a quick call. Please make sure your contact details are correct so MyColour can reach you about your application.
What working here involves day to day
MyColour is a practical print-supply bench, so the pace can change fast. Some days are quiet and planned, other days need quick thinking when a customer runs low on ink before a presentation or when a wide-format job needs the right media the same afternoon. You may help with user handover, collection coordination, remote help or preventive maintenance.
We expect people to keep things tidy, speak plainly and handle customers with respect. Good teamwork matters because sales, service and dispatch all feed into the same result: dependable colour output.
Our team culture in Ndabeni
We work from Ndabeni, Cape Town and support customers nationwide through courier supply. That means the team has to be organised, practical and comfortable working with deadlines. We look for people who can follow process but also think for themselves when a customer needs a sensible answer rather than a long explanation.
Current team members include Danie Vosloo, Zanele Mkhize, Oarabile Xaba, Pieter Smit, Boitumelo Shabalala and Jason Daniels. Each one plays a part in keeping orders moving, machines supported and consumables tracked. If that kind of environment sounds right for you, send your CV and let us know where you can add value.
